Return to the Wild Woman

A New Moon Rite of Primal Reclamation

June 13-14, 2026

Under the dark sky of the New Moon, we gather for a very unique and sacred ceremony of initiation, rebirth, and reverence for what it means to inhabit our female bodies.
We vision, we play, we create. Wild. Joyful. Alive.

What

We move through Earth, Water, Air, Fire, and the deep nurturing Void. Through body, breath, movement, voice, art, shamanic drumming, and ceremony, we awaken the primal seed of limitless creative potential and vital feminine life force.

There will be rituals of spirit and form. There will be nudity. There will be wild, messy art. There will be elemental connection.

Who

This is a gathering for women.

It is for those who want to join in standing in our fullest presence and sacred authority, in supportive sisterhood.

The Flow

Saturday — Elemental Connection

8:30-10:00am — Arrive and acclimate to the nurturing sanctuary of Wild Life Refuge

10am — Opening Circle — Through shamanic drumming and elemental ceremony, we enter.

12pm — Embodied Awakening — We share a guided progression of somatic and energetic practices through the lens of Taoism and Tantra. We explore intuitive movement, breathwork, voice activation, sacred breast ritual, jade egg practice, and microcosmic orbit circulation. These embodied teachings awaken vitality, circulate life force, and cultivate instinctive feminine power.

4pm — Body as Altar / Embodiment as Art — Our bodies become brush and canvas in this ritual anointing and sacred nude body art. We inhabit the art that we make, and the process is the core of this creation. You may choose other reflective art options as an alternative to the body painting.

8pm — Dark Moon Liberation — Our fire ceremony brings shedding and release, wild and playful expression, and joyful reclamation. Fire becomes witness while voice becomes declaration.

Sunday — Rebirth & Integration

10:00am — Closing Circle — A water ceremony blesses our rebirth, and we share and reflect to anchor what has been awakened.

We ask that all participants plan to arrive at least 20 minutes before our opening circle begins each day, and stay until we have closed for that day. This will help us all to make the most of the precious time we have together. The dynamic of our group will be inherently unique and we’re excited for the exploration of what will emerge as we come together.

All offerings are invitational and held within a sacred, ceremonial, non-sexual container rooted in honor and respect. Sovereignty is upheld and celebrated at all times.

More In-Depth

Jessica Riphenburg

Shamanic Drumming & Elemental Ceremonies

Led by Jessica Riphenburg, Ceremonialist & Shamanic Practitioner

These are the points where we consciously separate from the outside world. The drum anchors the nervous system, and plugs us into the heartbeat of Mother Earth. Fire witnesses your intention. Our circle becomes container.

Crossing the Threshold

Through rhythmic drumming, invocation, and elemental ritual, we consciously enter sacred space. This is where intention becomes embodied and the rite begins.

Fire Ceremony — Liberation

Within a powerful evening ceremony under the Dark Moon, we release inhibition, shed old skins, and stand boldly in voice, vitality, and sacred authority. Fire becomes witness. Voice becomes declaration.

Water Ceremony — Rebirth & Blessing

Through water blessing and reflection, we anchor what has been awakened and carry it forward into our lives.

These ceremonies are held within a sacred and grounded container — honoring the elements, the body, and the strength of each woman present.

Silvia Lopez

Embodied Feminine Awakening

Led by Silvia Lopez, Taoist & Tantric Practitioner and Shamanic Healer

Experience a divinely curated progression of somatic and energetic practices designed to awaken the feminine current — gently, powerfully, and with deep reverence.

Intuitive Sensual Movement

Release stored tension and awaken embodied confidence and joy by restoring fluidity to the nervous system.

Breathwork

Move stagnant energy. Clarify emotion. Circulate life force.

Sounding the Voice

Activate the throat–heart–womb connection, free suppressed expression, and reclaim authentic voice.

Sacred Breast Ritual

Engage in a heart-opening self-touch ritual supporting emotional release, lymphatic flow, and deep self-trust. This ritual is offered clothed or topless — as in all our activities, it’s your sovereignty, your choice.

Energetic Jade Egg Practice

Cultivate pelvic awareness and vitality, deepen connection with the womb space, and strengthen and refine feminine energy.

Microcosmic Orbit Practice

Circulate feminine life force throughout the womb, heart, and mind. Ground, integrate, and nourish the nervous system.

Embodied Feminine Awakening

Led by Tona Williams, Intuitive Visual & Movement Artist, Yogi, and Creator of Wild Life Refuge

A ceremonial immersion into the sanctity of our body as a sacred altar in which Tona will anoint each woman with paint, consecrating the body as living altar, creative force, and sacred form.

Body Art

Marked in color and intention, those who choose will enter a guided Sacred nude body art ritual, merging their whole bodies with the process of art-making and self expression.

Skin becomes brush and the body’s curves become strokes as we recognize that our embodiment is itself Art in the most fundamental way.

We will work large. We will play larger. We will embrace not knowing what will come of this until we’re on the other side.

If the nude art ritual isn’t your thing in the moment, we have an alternative ceremonial art offering. Everyone will remain fully woven into the arc of the rite. As with all our activities, all participation is invitational and held within a sacred container of honor and sovereignty.
